Port Orleans: French Quarter

Welcome to Port Orleans: French Quarter.

The French Quarter is designed to look like, well, New Orleans' French Quarter. It is Mardi Gras all the time! This is at the end of the river.

I love this resort. Let's go into the lobby. Here, you are greeted with beads and given a purple, gold, or green coin. For luck, you toss the coin behind your back into the fountain.

One of my favorite restaurants is located here. Sassagoula Floatworks & Food Factory. It is designed to look like a factory that designs those big floats for Mardi Gras. And they serve food. Specifically, they serve my favorite new food: a muffaletta sandwich. Spiced pork with an olive paste. Delicious!

By the way, my sister hates this place because of the large displays.

Anyway, let's go out to the pool.

Getting up to the pool, we can see the festive crocodiles living it up! They play all the way up the road and around the pool as well for the Mardi Gras Parade. The pool has King Triton riding on a giant sea serpant that breaches the pool in several areas.

The hot tub was secluded through an ivy covered archway. If you need to shower off, you can do so using the lion head showers.

Finally, the remainder of the resort.

It is layed out like the streets of New Orleans, complete with street names. There are several fountains and garden areas as well.

That's all of Port Orleans: French Quarter. I really like this resort.

Hope you enjoyed!
